Plants and Animals Take La La Land Through Their Home and Native Land

BY Josiah HughesPublished Feb 4, 2010

Montreal-based indie pop trio Plants and Animals have already announced that their second album will be out this spring. The record is called La La Land, and will be released on April 20. Now, they've revealed a Canada-heavy tour to coincide with the release.

First, the band will spend March partaking in music industry hobnobbing, with two showcases at Toronto's CMW and some TBA appearances at SXSW. Then, one day after their album drops, the band will embark on a Canadian tour that includes shows in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. For those dates, they'll be joined by Vancouver's Said the Whale.

A tracklisting for La La Land is still not available, but Secret City have kept lead single "Tom Cruz" available for streaming here.
