As we told you earlier this week, G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks and three of his cronies were arrested and detained in Kitchener, ON following a post-concert scuffle with a promoter after a payment dispute. Now, the plot has thickened, as reports have surfaced that a Kitchener resident has been arrested for stealing Banks's payment.
According to a report from AllHipHop, Kitchener resident Rahim Visram was arrested for allegedly stealing Banks's performance fee of over $5,000. The details are a little unclear for how Visram fits into the whole thing, but he is set to appear in court on March 24.
As for Banks, he, along with Tyrell Cooper and Shaun McGee, were released on bail. When they tried to go home, however, they were detained at the border by crossing guards over separate criminal charges. After an immigration hearing Wednesday (January 13), Banks was finally allowed to return to the U.S.
Nicklas Sloane, the other member of their entourage, remains with the Kitchener police.
