Québécois garage duo Ponctuation made it through the 27 Club, and with the follow-up La réalité nous suffit due out on April 28 through Bonsound, the entire album can be streamed ahead of time on Exclaim!
A prior press release promised that this album "marks a shift towards a more psychedelic sonic universe." This can be heard in the poppy strums and tremolo tones of "Narcisse" and "Peyotl dominical," the wonky, woozy riffs of "Cortisol," and the cloudy-headed swirl of "Morts et vivants." That being said, the album still includes plenty of straight-ahead Francophone garage rock.
