Postal Service are gearing up for the deluxe re-release of their lone LP Give Up, and now the duo are previewing some of the extras with a stream of bonus disc opener "Turn Around."
Musically, Jimmy Tamborello juxtaposes a busy beat with low-tide synth washes, while vocalist Ben Gibbard weighs in on someone's shitty life situation. His nervous and warbly vocal ticks allude to the subject's drastic weight loss and drug problems, but by the time Gibbard gets to the feel-good chorus, he lets his pal know that brighter days are ahead ("You gotta know that this will turn around / Until then I will not let you down.")
You can stream the song over via Seattle's The End radio station.
As previously reported, the revamped Give Up arrives April 9 via Sub Pop, and the band will also be playing reunion dates throughout the year, including stops in Toronto and Vancouver.
UPDATE: You can now listen to the track below.
