The Postal Service Document Reunion Tour with 'Everything Will Change' Concert Film

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 7, 2014

Last year, the Postal Service released a 14-minute short documentary about their reunion tour in support of the reissue of their album Give Up. Now, the electronic pop duo of Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello have announced a full-blown film about the same tour. Everything Will Change will be out on DVD and Blu-ray on November 24 through Sub Pop.

While the previous mini-doc focused on behind-the-scenes footage, this is a more traditional concert film. It was captured at Berkeley, CA's Greek Theater over two nights last summer (July 26 and 27, 2013).

The film was directed by Justin Mitchell (who also made the mini-doc), and a press release promises that it "features intimate interviews, backstage footage of the band, and captures one of the nights when everything did change." There will be some preview screenings on November 14, although all of them are in the U.S., with none in Canada.

See the setlist for the live film below, along with the special features. These extras include music videos and behind-the-scenes footage. Below that, check out a trailer for the film.

Also on November 24, Give Up will released for the first time as a single vinyl record (since the prior pressing was spread across three LPs). Both the film and the vinyl album can be pre-ordered here.
