Preoccupations are officially ready to unveil their new album of new material called New Material. As such, you can stream the entire album now.

New Material marks the follow-up to 2016's Preoccupations, as well as the dropping of their old controversial moniker Viet Cong. The new album was self-recorded by the group, with some additional mixing help from Justin Meldal-Johnson.

"It's an ode to depression. To depression and self-sabotage, and looking inward at yourself with extreme hatred," the band's Matt Flegel previously explained in a statement. "Finishing 'Espionage' was when I realized. I looked at the rest of the lyrics and realized the magnitude of what was wrong."

You can hear new material like the previously shared "Espionage," "Antidote" and "Disarray," as well as a whole lot more, below. You can also see all the band's upcoming tour dates over here.

New Material is out now via Flemish Eye/Jagjaguwar.
