Toronto, prepare to get psychosomatic addict, insane - the Prodigy are heading your way. On March 25, the recently revived electronic outfit have announced they will play the city's Kool Haus, with the show one of only three North American live stops.
The sole Canadian date follows in the wake of a sold-out UK tour and comes in support of the Prodigy's fifth studio album, Invaders Must Die, which will be released on the band's Cooking Vinyl affiliate, Take Me to the Hospital, on March 3. The record will mark the first time the band's main man Liam Howlett has worked with fire-startin' instigators Keith Flint and Maxim since 1997's mega-successful Fat of the Land, and finds Foo Fighter Dave Grohl contributing a bit of stick work as well.
As previously reported, here's how Howlett describes the upcoming new album: "All fucking bands say their new record's their best, but this just feels really triumphant for us. It's on fire. It's all about the three of us together and what we can do. You know what we deal with: it's beats in a predominantly electronic style and it's full of fucked-up guitars!"
The other two North American dates are at New York City's Roseland Ballroom on March 26 and at the Ultra Festival in Miami on March 28.
