Winnipeg's Propagandhi are releasing their new album At Peace tomorrow (May 2), but as we all know, things are not very peaceful between Canada and the US right now. With Donald Trump's tariff threats looming and US Immigration's staunch hot takes on which gender identities they're choosing to recognize, touring stateside has gotten all the more difficult for Canadian musicians.

Propagandhi are among the latest to announce the cancellation of all of their 2025 US tour dates, citing "circumstances beyond our control." The band were scheduled to play a handful of shows south of the border through this summer and fall, including scheduled concerts in Portland, Denver, Worchester and Gainesville.

"A new iron curtain drawn across the 49th parallel," reads the top comment on the Instagram post announcing the cancellation, quoting a lyric from Propagandhi's 2005 song "A Speculative Fiction."
