Psychic Void are full of beautiful contradictions. The Windsor band are chaotic yet melodic, short yet well-composed, and familiar while offering something new. The band are now unveiling their new music video for "Internet Human," which pays homage to gangster films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
"'Internet Human' was the first offering from the new LP, Skeleton Paradise, and we had been entertaining ourselves with the idea of filming the video for a while. Lyrically, the song speaks for itself and we had fun during the shoot. It was hard not to project a certain amount of hostility towards the disposal of such a technological terrorist," says guitarist Matthew Menard.
Since their inception in 2017, Psychic Void band have been spreading their form of psych-leaning hardcore punk all across Ontario. After a run of shows opening for the likes of Tunic, Show Me the Body, Glitter and Shallow Waves, the band dropped their latest record, Skeleton Paradise, late last month.
