The Queen's Plate has been racing through Toronto since 1860, and the equestrian event will be returning to Woodbine Racetrack once again this summer.
For some added entertainment this year, organizers have added a musical component to the competition. In addition to the horse race, onlookers will be treated to a concert on July 3 featuring performances from Hedley, Matthew Good, the Strumbellas, Emerson Street Rhythm Band, Andrew Hyatt, the Pick Brothers Band and River Town Saints.
It marks the first time in the Queen's Plate's 157 years that a concert has accompanied the Triple Crown kick-off.
Ticket prices start at $22.50, which includes admission to a Hats & Horseshoes party, as well. If you want to get in on the action, head over here for full information.
