According to various media reports, the performer was charged with 11 more sexual-assault related charges today by Cook County prosecutors.

Kelly has reportedly been charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim between the ages of 13 to 16.

At this point, there are conflicting reports as to whether the charges pertain to one victim or several.

According to Chicago Tribune reporter Megan Crepeau, the charges are more severe than the previous charges Kelly faced:

Kelly's alleged sex crimes were heavily documented in the Lifetime series Surviving R. Kelly. It was recently followed by a two-hour follow-up special called Surviving R. Kelly: The Impact.
