The members of Radiohead have spent a number of years releasing solo albums and side-projects, all while dropping hints that they're going to regroup soon. Now, there's finally a more substantial update about the band's future, as they recently reconvened in a practice space to play some of their old songs.
Bassist Colin Greenwood told Hay Festival Querétaro on Sunday (September 8), "We did some rehearsals about two months ago in London, just to play the old songs. And it was really fun, had a really good time." See his statement below.
Around the same time, Jonny Greenwood was rushed to hospital with an infection, leading his band the Smile to cancel their European tour. He's apparently on the mend.
The Smile will release Cutouts, their second album of 2023, on October 4.
