Radiohead

With this release, Radiohead bring together all seven of their King of Limbs remix EPs, which until now have only been available on vinyl or MP3. This monster 19-track compilation (available as a double CD or digital download) features big name remixers such as Caribou and former Thom Yorke collaborators Modeselektor and Fourtet, hot names on the current electronic music like Jacques Greene and more established names such as Mark Pritchard. TKOL RMX 1234567 is a great release that's of equal interest to fans of Radiohead and the remixers, and surprisingly for a compilation of remixes, it flows fantastically well as an album. However, given the access Radiohead have to remixers and the freedom their label-less state allows, you can't help thinking it could have been a touch more exciting had a few extra risks been taken, especially in regards to Yorke's vocals.
