Randy

Of all the Swedish garage bands (and it seems there is an endless supply these days), Randy has always stood out as one of the best. They're as politically aware and active as the (International) Noise Conspiracy but they're slightly more about good time rock’n’roll than protesting. Their third album finds them cranking up the pop meter to 11. With the notable exceptions of the opening track, "Dirty Tricks,” and "Cheater" there is much less of the ‘60s soul evident and more of a ‘70s pop type of vibe. It's a faster record that gives it more of a bounce than the amazing The Human Atom Bombs record, which had more groove and tempo going for it. A decent, solid record but not up to the standards of their previous work.
