Renee Heartfelt

Back before emo became known as seriously wimpy and depressing or morphed into screamo, there were bands that actually rocked and sang as they poured their guts out. This DC-area band remembers and on their debut EP summon the spirits of such dearly departed bands as Quicksand and Texas is the Reason to help in their quest to bring melody and rock back to emo. And we should all thank them for that. Hopefully they won’t make us wait too long for a full-length record.
