The Black Friday instalment of Record Store Day is just over three months away but the unfurling of special releases has already begun, with news that the Replacements will give their All Shook Down LP its first ever North American vinyl pressing.

Org Music reports that the band's 1990 swan song has been mastered from the original analog tapes and will be pressed in an edition of 1,000 for the November 29 event. The album was pressed on wax in Europe upon its intial release, but this will be the first edition on our shores. Most recently, All Shook Down was treated to a deluxe edition CD reissue in 2008 that featured demos and B-sides.

Another Record Store Day release set to arrive for Black Friday is L.A. alt-rockers Failure's 1994 sophomore LP Magnified, which was produced by Steve Albini. It too will be pressed up in a run of 1,000 copies.

In other news, the Replacements are gearing up for their Riot Fest appearances. The newly confirmed lineup for the band is core members Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson, as well as drummer Josh Freese and guitarist David Minehan (the Neighborhoods).
