No, this isn't an alias Burlington, ON's screamo quintet Grade use when playing '70s disco covers. It is a quartet of Vancouverites who've obviously spent a lot of time listening to old Alice in Chains and Tool records and watching just enough MuchMusic to get the look and sound down right. Like Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, Default, Staind, etc., Retrograde has an anonymous hard rock sound that could easily be interchangeable with any number of similar sounding rock-radio staples. As far as generic, "modern" alt-rock goes, it could be much worse.
