Rich Aucoin released his Ephemeral album last year, and he's spent the time since bringing his legendary live show on tour. The Haligonian artist has already received two nine out of 10 Exclaim! reviews for his live show in 2015 alone. He'll have plenty more opportunities to blow your mind, as he's announced a tour.
The artist will embark on his "Karaoke Carnival Tour," which, as its title suggests, is not a standard live show. Instead, a press release promises a "light-show perfectly in sync with projected images around you which are perfectly in sync with positive jams emanating from the speaker systems and the vocal chords of yourself and those around you and all donned by a parachuted carnival tent canopy."
Further, the write-up promises "confetti and parachutes and group hugs under the rainbow of a light-show culminating in a few singalong epics by way of Queen and Bowie to close out the sweaty night."
The Karaoke Carnival Tour kicks off on September 18, and includes stops across the country, as well as some festival dates at TURF and KOI. Check out Aucoin's full tour itinerary below.
