Richie Hawtin Scores the Olympic Winter Games

Now that we Canadians can no longer take pride in Roots dressing our athletes, we can now shift our proud patronage to music when Richie Hawtin will help open the XXth Olympic Winter Games. Yep, Plastikman is scoring the Olympics. Collaborating with Italian choreographer Enzo Cosimi on a key part of the opening ceremony in Torino on February 10, Hawtin says his music will accompany Cosimi’s provocative choreography and help push the boundaries of the performance by "introducing them to sights and sounds they may have never experienced before.”
