Maybach Music don Rick Ross recently returned with his Black Dollar mixtape, but he's apparently got even more material in the vault. Up next, he's shared a new standalone single called "Babies Cry."
Despite its title, there's nothing annoying about "Babies Cry." The song's an incredibly suave, mid-tempo banger courtesy of producer Ben Billions. It opens with the suggestion that Rick Ross doesn't really know what the word "production" means — he says, "Bring a little production in here right now" and then a guitar starts playing. "Yeah, that's better. I like that."
Once it kicks in, however, it's another solid collection of verses from the busy rapper, adding further evidence to the idea that he's having a great year in 2015.
