Rick Ross Pens Film Script

Between the recent mixtapes Black Dollar and Renzel Remixes and the fresh album Black Market, Rick Ross has been insanely prolific as of late. Evidently his creative juices are still flowing, since he has announced that he's got a film script called GABOS in the works.

The title stands for "Game Ain't Based on Sympathy," and Ross told Rolling Stone that it's based on gangster stories and the rapper's own life. It was inspired by Miami Vice and the Netflix crime show Narcos. Ross said, "Writing a film, you can bring it all to life, whether it's for yourself or another character in a film."

Evidently, Ross found writing the script "easy," and he came up with so much material that it's too large in scope to be a standard-length movie. "I feel it's too big to be one film," he said. "I feel we should film it, break it down and make it a series, if we can." Of the plot, he hinted, "The only thing better than a double-cross is a triple-cross."

Ross hasn't revealed when GABOS will be shot, or if he will be playing any sort of role in its filming (perhaps as a director or an actor).

Meanwhile, fans and rappers should be sure to stay the hell off of Ricky Rozay's porch.
