Earlier this year, Winnipeg-based blues songstress Romi Mayes released her fifth full-length Lucky Tonight. The album was recorded live at a sold-out concert in Winnipeg last winter, giving it a distinctly raw, stripped-down sound. Now, those live recordings can be enjoyed, er, live with a Canada-heavy North American tour.
Following some dates in Ontario and throughout the United States in May, Mayes has announced a tour that includes stops throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and even the Yukon, along with a few more American shows sprinkled in between.
