Royal Canoe

"Bathtubs"

While eclectic Winnipeg pop sextet Royal Canoe are prepping for the June 25 release of their debut LP Today We're Believers, the band are serving up a sneak peek ahead of time with a stream of the set's "Bathtubs."

The lush arrangement has the crew singing "a dusty organ keeps us company," but the tune's arrangement also slips in cinematic string sweeps, a herky-jerk beat, codeine-sipping vocoder passages, and screaming '80s electro-funk synths. You can hear it all down below.

As previously reported, the album arrives in Canada through Nevado and in the U.S. via Roll Call.
