For the first time, Rush have announced a super deluxe career-spanning anthology that encompasses the whole of their storied recorded output.
RUSH 50 is out March 21 via UMe/Mercury and Anthem Records, and is now available for pre-order. The 50-track collection is bookended by the first-ever reissue of their 1973 debut single "Not Fade Away," and a live recording of the last song they ever played together as a band at their final 2015 concert at the Forum in Los Angeles, CA.
"50? Is that all?…seriously…it's a cool collection…but look at all those songs — I'm exhausted just reading the effin' list," Geddy Lee said in a press release. The Super Deluxe Edition includes four CDs and seven vinyl LPs, as well as new artwork from Hugh Syme. Seven of the 50 tracks are previously unreleased, including "You Can't Fight It," Vault Editions of "Working Man" and "The Trees," as well as cuts that were only ever performed live at some of the band's earliest shows.
In addition to the Super Deluxe, RUSH 50 will be available in the Rush Store Exclusive iteration (which includes everything above, as well as four bonus lithographs), 7LP and 4CD respective deluxe formats, and digitally. Find the full tracklist information below, as well as an unboxing video.
