UK dubstep producer Rusko (a.k.a. Chris Mercer) has shared some unfortunate personal news. He took to Twitter yesterday (May 4) to tell his fans that he is currently battling a form of stomach cancer.
Rusko revealed that he is beginning treatment for gastric lymphoma and, as a result, has had to cancel all of his upcoming summer tour dates. Mercer did note, though, that he will continue to release new music, "which is awesome — and gonna cheer me up for sure."
Before thanking fans for their ongoing support, he apologized for being "a bit quiet" over the next little while.
