Glaswegian producer Rustie blew minds with his debut LP Glass Swords last year, which ended up sneaking into the top five in our Best of 2011: Dance & Electronica list, thanks in part to bangers like "All Night." Now the Scottish musician has reworked album cut "Surph," which will be released as a single on April 9 via Warp.
Featuring the vocals of Slovenia's Nightwave and an unnamed male singer, the slightly tweaked version of the track reminds us that Rustie doesn't plan on settling down in 2012. The tune has been described by his label as "an amalgamation of Rustie's love for Japanese prog, pop, happy hardcore and Detroit techno."
Give the infectiously high-energy tune a listen below.
