Baltimore rapper Rye Rye has been promising her first proper full-length Go! Pop! Bang! for a couple of years now, but it's yet to arrive. While the album was initially supposed to drop sometime in 2009, we thought that the record's recently rescheduled release date for January 2011 on M.I.A.'s N.E.E.T. Recordings was a go. Considering it's now February, it looks as if Rye Rye's going to hang on to her baby for just a little bit longer. In the meantime, the lil' hip-hopper has given us a mixtape called RYEotpowRR to keep her buzz going just a little bit longer.
The 18-track affair was produced by DJ Sega and features remixes of Ke$ha's "We R Who We R," Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" and Miley Cyrus's "Party in the U.S.A." You can check out a video of that last one, which looks as if it was filmed in a high school music room, below.
You can download RYEotpowRR here.
