Sacriversum

So far I've been on the fence with Sacriversum and this DVD hasn't pushed me to either side. The exclusive performance captured here nicely complements the Sacriversum that's more familiar from recent studio recordings — epic metal fronted by male growls and female serenades — and the mini-documentary is an entertaining window into Sacriversum's past and behind the scenes. Numerous references to, and even cameos by, other, mostly Polish, artists make for a decent game of who's who as well. Plus, the DVD includes the usual Metal Mind goodies: more live footage, a video clip, bio, discography, galleries and the like. But, in the end, none of it's enough to convert unbelievers.
