After nearly a decade as a band, Burlington, ON group Saint Alvia recently announced they are breaking up. After forming in 2005, they released several full-lengths over the course of their career, ending with this year's Static Psalms, which continued the band's tendency to infuse punk music with enthusiasm and charisma.
Before they played their last Toronto show at Bovine Sex Club, Saint Alvia, assisted by the Victim Party, delivered a rousing rendition of their hit "Don't Wanna Wait Forever," from their debut self-titled album. Passionate vocals and and a general sense of camaraderie make this acoustic rendition even more fun than the song in its recorded form.
See it all go down below, and catch them this Saturday, December 7 at Burly Calling for their final show.
