Since last year, Toronto experimenter Sandro Perri has been toying with his Impossible Spaces LP as source material for a series of remix EPs. After material on DFA and Phonica, he's announced the final remix 12-inch, which will arrive via his longtime home at Constellation Records.
The new EP is called Spaced Out and features three songs spread across 22 minutes of playing time. The record features remixes from DFA performer Larry Gus (whose contribution is described as "the closest thing to a banger in the entire batch of remix material"), Le Révélateur and Imugem Orihasam.
Constellation will issue Spaced Out on October 15 on 180-gram virgin vinyl and as a digital download. You can check out Larry Gus's remix of "Love & Light" below as part of Constellation's new label sampler. The song comes in at the 19-minute mark.
Spaced Out:
1. Love & Light (Larry Gus – Panamix)
2. Wolfman (Le Révélateur - Sky Mix)
3. How Will I? (Imugem Orihasam - Outlook Mix)
