Sandro Perri Takes 'Impossible Spaces' Out on More Canadian Dates

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 14, 2012

Last fall, Toronto-based fusionist Sandro Perri delivered his Impossible Spaces LP, which we lauded as "one of the finest records of the year." If you wanted to see his mix of jazz, indie, glitch electronics and folk onstage, the musician has some good news for you: he's heading out on tour next month.

While Perri won't be heading out for a sprawling North American trip, he will play a handful of dates in Canada and the U.S. As previously reported, Perri and his backing band will be playing Toronto's Wavelength festival on February 18, and will then take off for a gig in Cincinnati a few weeks later, opening up for Philip Glass at the MusicNOW fest.

The first week of April will see him play a quick succession of shows, starting with a few dates opening up for Metronomy in Montreal and Toronto before hitting up Hamilton, ON. You can see the schedule below.

Despite his currently scant tour schedule, 2012 is set to be a busy one for Perri as he'll be crossing over to Europe for a tour in the summer and fall. More dates to come.
