Guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana is at work on a new studio album of classic rock covers, and he's enlisted the help of Nas, Joe Cocker, Chris Cornell and the Doors' keyboardist Ray Manzarek for guest spots.
As Contact Music reports, the album features Nas covering AC/DC's "Back in Black," Cocker tackling Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" and Chris Cornell getting his Robert Plant on with a rendition of Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love."
Manzarek is helping Santana on an updated version of the Doors' "Riders on the Storm," which the guitarist is calling "really far out and psychedelic."
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Santana claimed he wanted to make a record that would attract women. "I paid special attention to the groove so the females would get completely aroused."

The album is still in the formative stages, and is yet to be given a title or release date.
