Earlier this year, UK post-punk quartet Savages hinted that they'd be releasing a follow-up to their breakthrough debut Silence Yourself in the form of an EP. We've now learned that it'll be a 12-inch record featuring two previously unheard recordings.
The record will be available on 180gram vinyl or as a digital download. The EP's songs were recorded during the band's performance at the London Forum on November 6.
The A-side of the release is a 10-minute track called "Fuckers," which has been Savages set-closing song of choice for much of their touring. On the flip side, the EP will contain a cover of Suicide's "Dream Baby Dream."
Matador will issue the 12-inch on May 5. The record can be pre-ordered now.
