Days removed from winning her first-ever Juno Award, Savannah Ré has returned with a new single. "24hrs" can be heard below.
"This song kind of came about naturally being in this pandemic," Ré said of the single, produced by YogiTheProducer and adamjosh. "I've seen so much about relationships being strained and coming to an end because really, you're never forced to be in a house 24/7 with your spouse or significant other.
"However, I haven't seen much about the positives of this. I feel like my relationship has gotten nothing but stronger, and it almost is like I wish 24 hours was longer just to have more time with my significant other."
This past Sunday (June 6), Ré captured the Juno Award for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year with "Solid," which appeared on her debut EP Opia. She is the first-ever artist to receive the award.
Today, Ré was named a 2021 Prism Prize finalist for her "Opia - Experience" music video.
