Scarlett Johansson has hinted that the actress might be stepping back into the musical limelight.

In an interview with MTV News, the newly wedded star of The Spirit said, "I would love to do another album," adding that this time around she may opt for a record of originals.

Earlier this year, the former Exclaim! cover star released an album of Tom Wait covers, Anywhere I Lay My Head, with the production help of TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek. But now it appears she may want to try out her songwriting chops.

"I don't think I'd do covers, so it'd be a project that I have to dedicate myself to," Johansson said. "I feel like that's something for the future."

However, when pressed about if her sophomore effort had to be a covers record she said, "If I had to, Leonard Cohen, maybe." In a previous MTV interview, Johansson also said the Canadian songwriter was on top of her duet list.

Johansson gave no word on when she might take some time and try to put down some new recordings or who she may want to handle the production duties on album number two.
