The Schomberg Fair and Larry and His Flask Join Forces for Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 4, 2012

Having released their Mercy EP last fall, rootsy Toronto shit-kickers the Schomberg Fair are getting ready to hit the road this spring. Once again, they'll be linking up with Oregon-based folk punk unit Larry and His Flask for the outing.

The Exclaim!-sponsored trip is colourfully titled the "Moose Knuckles and Belt Buckles Tour 2012." Larry and His Flask will begin their Canadian trek with three shows without the Schomberg Fair: June 5 in Halifax, June 7 in Saint John's and June 9 in Fredericton.

After that, the two bands will team up and head across the country all the way to British Columbia. See all of the collaborative dates below.

Before the tour begins, the Schomberg Fair will finish recording another new EP with producer Brian Moncarz in April. According to a press release, this latest collection "will continue the band's evolution towards blending equal parts Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer with traditional early to mid-20th century blues and folk music."

See Larry and His Flask's full international tour dates over at the band's official website.
