New York electro popsters School of Seven Bells have revealed the new video for "The Night."

The cut comes from the duo's this year's Ghostory and follows up the video for "Reappear." The new clip stars a young girl, presumably meant to be a child version of vocalist Alejandra Deheza.

According to a statement from the band, the video was selected from a number of entries submitted by filmmakers around the world, with director Allie Aviatal Tsypin coming out victorious.

The band only had nice things to say about the clip's star and overall feel, stating: "Not only is the resemblance incredible, the emotion in this girl's face is beyond her years, and her performance nearly had us both in tears the first time we watched it together. I'm not sure I'll hear the night again without imagining this girl either dancing her heart out, tormented and trapped in a corner, or casting a dark spell over whoever left her there alone. It's exactly what this song is meant to look like."
