Though they manage to pull off studio wizardry with their glittery albums, Scissor Sisters are above anything else performers, and witnessing them on stage is the best way to experience their glam extravaganza. Hurrah finds the band in their bright wardrobe serenading an audience of thousands at Londons O2 Arena, playing highlights from their self-titled album and Ta-Dah (the set is also included on a bonus CD as well). Naturally, the English crowd eat right out of the Sisters hands, and even with a massive stage to obstruct the intimacy they somehow bring their flamboyance in full, pulling off highlights like "Laura and disco obscurity "Skins flawlessly. An additional doc explores the international phenomenon of the band, showing the hundreds of thousands theyve played to, the horrifically produced fan videos most of which show people either lip-synching and dancing to "I Dont Feel Like Dancin or trying to sing it ballad-style the forced television talk show appearances and interviews, and let us not forget the embarrassing cameo on Passions. Wait, please let us forget that. Plus: videos, acoustic gig.
