Toronto's Scotiabank Arena has announced its vaccination policy for upcoming events. The venue will be requiring all attendees to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result.

A press release from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment says that the rule will come into effect in mid-September. It applies to both staff and guests at all of MLSE's venues, which also includes Coca-Cola Coliseum, BMO Field, Ford Performance Centre, BMO Training Ground and the OVO Athletic Centre.

The announcement reads, "MLSE is proud to serve as a central gathering place in Toronto and recognizes its responsibility to provide attendees with a safe and secure environment. We believe these health and safety protocols are the key to allowing our communities and businesses to reopen safely, to permit full capacity events, and to protect against further lockdowns."
