Mind-altering work of art:
Blood Meridian, a book by Cormac McCarthy, Jimi Hendrix's Axis Bold As Love.
Most memorable or inspirational gig and why?
Black Flag, San Diego 1982. It was the first time I saw a band destroy a whole room.
What has been your career high and low?
High: Creating and pulling off our festival, "Beyond the Pale" last year.
Low: Being ripped off by a record label that we trusted.
What should everyone shut up about?
Politicians.
I would drop everything to play a benefit for:
Any organisation that protects children from predators, and helps them to feel safe again.

My will and my temper.
What would make you kick someone out of your band and/or bed, and have you?
Lack of effort, and yes I have, both.

Hockey, Voivod, Rush, John Belushi.

The state penitentiary.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Light Speed.
What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
Blood and fire.
Music and sex: Is there a difference? Why?
No difference except that I'm heterosexual, and bi-musical.
Strangest brush with celebrity:
I had lunch with Ozzy.
Who would be your ideal dinner guest, living or dead, and what would you serve them?
I'd eat a steak with Ernest Hemingway.
What does your mom wish you were doing instead?
I have no idea.
