It's hard not to be jealous of kids that got to grow up with a show like Pancake Mountain on public access TV in Washington, DC, but thanks to the internet, everyone can check out the punk-and-kid-friendly show.
Getting in to the Halloween spirit, the now made-for-YouTube series recently featured a performance from New Jersey indie punks Screaming Females. The duo go all out with classic toilet paper mummy costumes, as other dressed-up bystanders get a dance party going.
The short episode also features the theme song performed by Brody Dalle (and written by Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty) and closes out with an acoustic rendition of Tegan and Sara's "Walking with a Ghost" to keep in line with the spooky theme.
Screaming Females' "Wishing Well" 7-inch is out now via Don Giovanni, and you can check out their performance on Pancake Mountain below.
