Canadian pop-punk outfit Seaway came home from Europe this week to discover that their trailer in Oakville, ON, had been broken into, with a bunch of expensive gear lifted in the process. The band are now seeking any info on the whereabouts of their equipment.
The group used their Facebook account today (April 20) to explain the situation, noting that their trailer had been broken into sometime between March 29 and April 19, while they were off touring Europe with Knuckle Puck and Boston Manor.
This is apparently the fourth time the band's Oakville trailer has been broken into, and this time bandits made away with over $4,000 worth of equipment. This includes bassist Adam Shoji's full rig and parts of Ken Taylor's drum hardware.
The band are asking anyone who may know of the whereabouts of their burgled equipment to reach out at seawayband@gmail.com. You'll find the full description of what all is missing down below.
Seaway will still head off on their U.S. "Pure Noise Records Tour" this week. You'll find info on the trip, which finds Seaway hitting stages with Boston Manor and Can't Swim, over here.
