Septeto Habanero

Septeto Habanero are equally traditional, but more geared toward the concert halls and night-clubs of pre-revolutionary Cuba. While still easy-going, their music is more self-consciously refined and perhaps just a little florid with its frequent flourishes of woodwinds and strings. Septeto Habanero have a history and legacy beyond reproach, but if the grit, passions and Cuban funk of son are your thing, Luis Frank is the one to get.
