Rob Zombie

The undisputed king of metal, Rob Zombie, has returned with a new offering for his subjects entitled The Sinister Urge. The disc is huge, in usual Zombie style, with big orchestrations, haunting samples and rhythms, and guest performances by metal monsters like Tommy Lee, Kerry King and Ozzy Osborne ("Iron Head"). Nobody does metal like Rob Zombie, but even he, the fearless leader, can be accused of the occasional miscalculation, like the candy-coated "Never Gonna Stop." The truth is that it may be time for a revolt. There is nothing new, but Zombie fans should be satisfied.
