Siskiyou

"Twigs and Stones" (video)

Still riding high off releasing their smashing sophomore set Keep Away the Dead, Vancouver-based folk experimentalists Siskiyou are offering up a new video for album track "Twigs and Stones."

The simple, understated clip was directed by Toronto-based filmmaker Brett Story, and his piece places slice-of-life shots of laundromats, city street scenes and one especially relaxed old man driving an RV down the highway amongst the sounds of Siskiyou's endearingly ramshackle, free jazz-inflected jamboree. Check it out below.

In other news, Siskiyou will be playing a free Record Store Day set this Saturday (April 21) at Vancouver's Zulu Records, the band's first with their newest member, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Lee (In Medias Res). Check 'em out if you can.
