Pop performer Sky Ferreira is going to release a new album next year. We've heard a live version of its lead single "Guardian," and today we get a taste of the studio version with a new snippet.
Ferreira took to her Instagram to post the new clip. She mentions it's only a demo, but the song sounds impeccable as it pairs her brooding vocals with some vintage synths and drum machines — likely courtesy of Ariel Rechtshaid and Primal Scream members Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes, who are working with Ferreira on the album.
Ferreira added that she'll put the song out "early next year" with a "SICK video" from Grant Singer.
For now, listen to the brief "Guardian" snippet below.
