Following a few lineup reveals, Calgary's Sled Island has added another biggie to the 2018 festival: the Flaming Lips.

Today it was announced the Flaming Lips will play Calgary as part of Sled Island on June 21 at MacEwan Hall. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday (April 13) at 10 a.m. local time, though Sled passes will also grant you entry (subject to capacity).

The festival date comes as part of a tour in support of the band's most recent album Oczy Mlody. The trek includes various other Canadian dates, and you can see their full itinerary here.

As previously reported, the Flaming Lips also are set to release the Scratching the Door: The First Recordings of the Flaming Lips via Rhino/Warner Bros on April 20, along with the new six-CD box set called Seeing the Unseeable: The Complete Studio Recordings of The Flaming Lips: 1986-1990 on May 25.

In addition to the Flaming Lips, Sled Island 2018 will feature other acts such as Dirty Projectors, Shabazz Palaces, John Maus, Mount Eerie, Grouper, Mount Kimbie, Mary Timony (performing her Mary Timony Plays Helium set), Cherry Glazerr, Tyondai Braxton, Lido Pimienta and many more.

Sled Island takes place from June 20 to 24 at various venues across Calgary.
