Ever-changing Toronto performer Slim Twig has quite a few things on the go these days. With an upcoming split twelve-inch with U.S. Girls, he has released a self-directed clip for "Priscilla," and an intimate live performance of "I'll Always Be a Child" has been captured by Southern Souls.
In addition to the new clips, which you can see below, Slim Twig has announced that his sophomore album will be released early next year. According to a press release, "Slim's new project will emphasize live production with diverse instrumentation and an exciting list of collaborators on board."
To showcase the multitude of new material and unveil his new band, Slim Twig has set up a few live dates with U.S. Girls, starting with Toronto's Dakota Tavern. Check out the full list of shows below.
Pick up the U.S. Girls/Slim Twig twelve-inch on August 16 via Palmist Records and expect Slim Twig's second full-length in early 2012 via Paper Bag Records.
