As previously reported, post-rock masterminds Slint are preparing a deluxe reissue of their 1991 classic Spiderland. Along with expanded musical offerings, the box will include a DVD release of Lance Bangs's long-awaited documentary on the making of the album. Today (February 14), we get a taste of the film with a new trailer.
The two-and-a-half-minute teaser offers some fascinating early footage of the group, including grainy performance clips and early photographs, where the members of Slint appear to be tiny children dressed as a thoughtful rock band.
There's also plenty of fascinating narration, with various people offering narration about the history of Slint. In other words, the trailer suggests a fascinating and in-depth film.
Check out the trailer for Breadcrumb Trail below. The Spiderland box set will be available on April 15 via Touch and Go.
