Sloan

'12' (album stream)

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Apr 6, 2018

Canrock institution Sloan are officially back with a new album. That's right, 12 is out now, and you can stream it in full.

In case the title didn't give it away, 12 marks the band's 12th album. As always, it was made by members Patrick Pentland, Chris Murphy, Jay Ferguson and Andrew Scott, with each penning three songs apiece.

The album marks the follow-up to 2014's Commonwealth — a record that Sloan are not simply repeating with 12

"That album was more of everyone retreating to corners to produce and sequence a side of their own material," Ferguson previously explained in a statement, comparing the two records. "This one would potentially have more collaboration than usual."

Sloan's 12 is out now via Murderecords/Universal Music Canada, and you can stream it for yourself down below.

Sloan have a pile of tour dates coming up in support of the record, and you can see all those here, as well as read Exclaim!'s recent interview with the group here12 is available on CD and orange vinyl via MusicVaultz.
